Review: September & October's BirchBox

Hello beauties I have decided to share both the September and October BirchBox's in one post for you all as I had a damaged bronzer in my September box so I had to wait for my replacement to be sent to me (good service from BirchBox they did this quite quickly!) and then before I knew it my October box had arrived. So, let's get into what products I received and what my thoughts are on both boxes.

This evening I came home from work my November BirchBox had arrived yay! Although *sad face* it got super wet between deliveries due to the rain we had. So whilst that is drying off I will focus on the last couple of months boxes and another post will be live this weekend sharing with you all the contents in the November box *SNEAK PEAK* - there is something from Benefit in there!!

September BirchBox:

In September's BirchBox they partnered up with Oliver Bonas - the independent British lifestyle brand that's all about design and fresh thinking, so the quote and theme BirchBox asked their members to embrace was 'work hard, play hard & be kind' - which is a very true saying, if you work hard and do your best you really can do anything you put your mind to! In this box everyone received a Manna Kadar Fantasy 3-In-1 treat, however as mine was damage in the delivery I was sent out a Bronzer from the brand instead. Plus, we all received a Polaar IcyMagic Instant Eye Contour Energiser.

Contents inside my September BirchBox:

Poolar IcyMagic Instant Eye Contour Energiser | RRP £22

This product is a smoothing roll-on eye treatment which contains a lovely cooling gel formula (definetly wakes you up in the morning!) and is packed with a brightening ginseng tone to rejuvenate your under-eye area in a flash - I absolutely love the feel of applying this underneath my eyes to wake me up and it's so relaxing to apply when you've taken all of your make-up off for the day and you are ready to #Relax...

DR.PawPaw Oirignal Clear Balm | RRP £6.95

This product claims to be a multi-tasker, the star ingredient of this UK-made balm is fermented pawpaw a fruit with naturally healing ingredients which lends this balm to having a multitude of hydrating uses - sounds great! I am going to give this to my Mum to use as I have a firm favourite lip balm from the product range I have which I LOVE and I don't usually get through lip balms quickly and hate to see a product going to waste.

Manna Kadar Bronzer (Should Receive - Fantasy 3-In-1-Blush) | Full Size

This is a nice bronzer that gives you a sun kissed glow to your skin! I was pleased with the texture and consistency of this product. It is easy to blend and looks lovely on.

ARROW BOOST Color Enhancing Lip Balm | RRP £11

I was quite disappointed to find two lip balms in the same month's box to be honest! because, how many lip balms can a girl use?! So this has been added to my lip draw and I will eventually get around to using it. This has a high-tech balm which adjusts to your pH and contains mango seed butter to keep your lips feeling hydrated and protects whilst you're on the go! This product was full size and is a BirchBox exclusive.

Beauty Protector Protect and Detangle | RRP £18.50

I never try many new hair heat protecting products so I was pleased to receive this in my birch box! This product helps to detangle, minimize frizz (something I can't review on as I don't have this hair type - but how great if it does!) protects colour and adds shine to your hair type. So not only does this protect your hair against heat damage it also has lot's of other benefits!! Super pleased with this. This product was also a BirchBox exclusive.

October BirchBox:

In October's BirchBox their focus was all about feeling good and in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they have partnered up with CoppaFeel! - this is a charity that are on a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer. To help fight the good fight they have included a CoppaFeel Shower Hijack sticker in every single box to show us exactly what signs to look for and feel for I thought this was a fantastic campaign to promote. Every subscriber also received the anatomicals grab your melons shower gel, there is also a balance me pure skin face wash in every box.

Modelo MEGALASH Mascara | RRP £16

I haven't tried this mascara out yet, but some of my friends who also get BirchBox have and said it's a good mascra, so i'll have to get back to you with my review. This mascara advises to lift and fan out each individual lash as it goes to add definition, length and a volumised finish.

Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash | RRP £16

This face wash helps to remove off your make-up and grime from the day without stripping your skin from moisture (bonus!) this is a 99% natural cleanser. I have a mountain of face products in the bathroom so this will be another product I will pass down to a family member as I have gotten my skincare routine down to a T recently combatting my blemishes etc. so I will give this to one of my amazing friends or family members to enjoy this product!

Anatomicals Grab Your Melons Shower Gel | RRP £1.50

I really like this shower gel, personally I think the branding and name is fantastic and the meaning behind this product is very close to everybody's hearts. This zesty body wash cares for your skin and uplifts your mood. This product lathers up well and is also a BirchBox exclusive.

Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow | RRP £25.50

I have to admit, I haven't got round to trying this yet however I am quite a fan of BB creams. This product is a multitasking BB cream which controls shine, evens your skin tone whilst hydrating and calming redness. This advises it leaves the perfect amount of glow, perfect around this time of the year where your skin can start looking dull.

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo | RRP £20

I wasn't able to show the photo of this dry shampoo travel size product as by the time I've sat down to do this post, I have had this stashed away in my handbag and it's now empty! I love dry shampoo's for in between hair washes, they soak up the excess oil and deliver a shot of fresh fragrance whilst adding texture and hydrates and strengthens your hair sreands to give you an extra day between hair washes. (for those needing an extra hour in bed - this is great!)

So there we have it, here is my reviews and low down on the last couple of month's boxes. I am so excited to share with you all what's inside November's birch box - I think it may well be my favourite box so far.
