Urban Decay NAKED HEAT - Review & Swatches

Hello beauties, as you'll know the beauty world was taken over in June with the news wave of Urban Decay releasing a new palette. It's been quite a few years since Urban Decay have caused this much attention online and in the media, just as the original, naked 2, 3 and smokey palettes did when they were released, and then the excitement was waned when the Naked Basic palettes were launched, however the Naked HEAT has certainly caused a stir and grasped our attention whilst awaiting the release date but has it been justified?

I personally feel the excitement and attention around this palette has been justified, and has met my expectations - I've been talking about it and doing the countdown over on my Beauty Facebook page since I first saw a sneak peak photo of the palette! Urban Decay did an initial pre-sale on the 12th June which sold out in minutes, followed by the Online release date on the 27th July which will be available in stores at the beginning of August.

This is a beautiful palette containing a collection of 12 warm, scorched neutral shades of oranges, coppers, reds and browns. If you like warm eyes, then this is the Naked palette for you. The palette has a great selection of both matte and shimmer shades all being very wearable colours. I usually opt for a dark smokey eye so have thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with these warmer tone eyeshadow colours.

This palette retails for £39.50 in the UK and comes with a double-ended brush, which is the standard price of the Urban Decay palettes which is definitely worth the money, the pigmentation of these shadows are second to none, like with all of the other Naked Palettes and they are all unique shades not currently in Urban Decay's collection other than this palette which makes it extra special.

Urban Decay did also release more in this collection, there were three lipsticks; Fuel, Scorched and Heat along with two eyeliners; Torch and Alkaline which I didn't purchase as they did not draw my attention as much as this palette did. The palette is available to purchase here.
