New-In Beauty: L'Oreal Paradise Extatic Mascara Review

Hello beauties during my recent shopping trip to Superdrug where I spent just under £50 eek! - watch the haul video on my Facebook page here I purchased the L'Oreal Paradise Extatic mascara as it's been hugely raved about all over social media, so I'm guessing you've probably heard of it to. So today, I put it to the test to see how good it really is, and is it worth you purchasing it. I have also heard that this mascara is a dupe of the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara which is double the price - so if you already have that one, then it'll be good for you to compare the two and possibly save yourself some money.

The packaging of this mascara is beautiful, it's a rose gold copper tube with blocked out writing saying the name of the mascara, L'Oreal have definitely thought about the branding of their new mascara launch as the box it comes in is equally as beautiful, copper style packaging, with before and after photo's and quotes down the right hand side saying exactly what the benefits of the mascara are. I personally feel mascara's are one thing the drugstore brands get right, and something that you can save your money on to buy the high street brand rather than a more luxury mascara like Lancôme, MAC and so on (despite the fact I own a good mixture of both cheaper and more expensive mascara's that's to put them to the test for you all)

 

 

This mascara retails for £9.99 currently due to it's introductory offer whilst it's landing on the shelves in Superdrug and Boots stores all over - purchase yours here whilst the offer still stands, as I believe this will be ranging between £11-12 when the offer has ended, which is a reasonable price for a mascara, especially in comparison to expensive brands, it is slightly more expensive than Maybelline which is one of my go-to drugstore brands for mascara, however I do feel L'Oreal is one of the more luxurious brands in Superdrug/Boots so I was happy to pay the price and try this new mascara.

 

The mascara claims to give you 'intense volume' and 'spectacular long lashes' being a 'pleasure to apply' and I agree with all of those factors, my lashes literally doubled in length, and separated beautifully making my lashes look very long and defined. The brush has soft bristles that coated my lashes with ease, and it has a silky formula which makes it easy to apply onto your lashes without any fall-out or clumps. I read up about this product on Superdrug's website to ensure I covered all the details; this mascara is enriched with a long-lasting castor oil to add the product evenly to your lashes. This lasts all day on your lashes, and gives you that full glam look, without the need for lashes. I'd say I'm pretty happy with it so far!

So my lovelies, here is my photo's of this mascara - I hope you can see the results well enough, I personally am in love with this mascara, it's definitely worth the money and does what it sets out to do. I would repurchase this and recommend it to all you lovely girls/guys who are in need of a new mascara, and don't want to spend a ridiculous amount - as let's face it, we're only supposed to keep them for 3 months.
